Summer

Summer always makes me feel like a child again. The wonder of time passing really slowly the days that seemed to never end and summer holidays were a joy filled lifetime

Although the nights are fleeting and in astronomical terms never truly dark! We are treated to a glorious display of stars as the centre of our Milky Way makes it way across the sky.

Summer twilights go on for as long as the days and there is nothing more wonderful than sitting on a quiet hill at midnight and still seeing the soft glow of the Sun on the horizon.
