Winding road at sunset

Another picture from our visit to the Peak District, taken also from Mam Tor at sunset. it is a given in Landscape photography that the best time of day to take pictures is sunrise or sunset. Rules are of course made to be broken so I took pictures through out the day but after looking at them the only ones I am happy with are the sunset ones...

This picture is also a panorama but a collage panorama, made using three rows stitched together using a 40mm lens which is a slight zoom. The effect you get is far more satisfying to look at than just shooting with a very angle lens because the zoom pulls more detail out of the scene, creating a more immersive effect when you look at it.
